| The Manta Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) was designed by Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) as a test platform. Seemann Composites built all of the components seen in the exploded figure. One requirement for the vehicle is to be able to remove the entire top skin from bow to stern to allow access for equipment installation. This created many unique connection joint details and put severe tolerance requirements on the tooling. The tooling and parts were delivered on time and on budget to NUWC. | |||||||||||
